CHENNAI, INDIA: VIVA Communications, an emerging provider of converged communication solutions aimed at serving next generation communication needs of enterprises, today launched its’ end-to-end ‘Secure VoIP’ solutions that caters to voice needs of enterprises of all sizes.

Wholly managed by VIVA Communications, the new offering is highly reliable and
truly end-to-end comprising of implemention of the solution with defined QoS and encryption. ‘Secure VoIP’ will lead to higher employee productivity through higher voice quality in enterprises besides ensuring the voice traffic is not compromised in any manner.

Srinivasan S, founder and Director, VIVA Communications said: "The growth of VoIP
today can be compared to that of the Internet in the early 90’s. Enterprises of all sizes are today more aware of the advantages of VoIP usage and it finds greater acceptance. However, except for a few, most shy away from deploying it due to security and simplicity of the offering. With unreliable and vulnerable VoIP, a user can fake a company’s IP address, entice customers to give up confidential information, launch DoS attacks and pump junk voice messages through VoIP as crucial information is transferred over VoIP.

"Over and above the threat, the complexity of having a solution up and running further deters most enterprises from adopting VoIP. By making the offering end to end, pricing it attractively and assuring security of the voice traffic, we are addressing the key inhibitors to increased adoption of VoIP solutions for voice by more enterprises and expect the market to react positively to the new offering."

The entire infrastructure deployed by VIVA Communications is as per DoT regulations and complies with the legal requirements of using VoIP in India and the company provides local customer service to ensure the smooth and trouble free functioning of the service.
